NMRA Standards Gauges

The NMRA standards gauge is an essential tool in every model railroader's arsenal. It is the best way to check gauge between rails, flange depth, and other measurements critical to the smooth operation of your scale railroad empire. When ordering, please indicate scale required: HO, Hon3, N, Sn3, O, or OO/On3.

NMRA Member Price is $3.50 each (Limit 2 Gauges per Member) NonMember Price - $10.00 each

The Gauges are also available to Wholesale and Retail Businesses. Contact the NMRA Program Support Associate in the Administration Department for Terms and Pricing. (Complete an Administration Department Request Form - Address the Request to the Program Support Associate)

At this time the NMRA does not sell a Standards gauge for S scale, (standard gauge). Part of the reason is that the National Association of S Gaugers (NASG) and the NMRA have had S scale, standard gauge standards that don't exactly match. The issue is in the process of being corrected through a proposed change in NMRA standards to match the NASG standards and a ballot vote will be required to effect the change in NMRA standards. In the meantime, modelers looking for an S scale gauge should contact the National Association of S Gaugers at: http://www.nasg.org. The NMRA does have the Sn3 gauge available.

Many of these items are available on the NMRA On-Line Store
